This year’s Met Gala’s, on 1 May 2023, theme ‘Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty’, a tribute to the legendary designer who died in 2019. We acknowledge the controversy surrounding Mr Lagerfeld, this blog focused on our choice for top 10 outfits. The Designers stepped up this year, following last year’s mishap.

Number 9 we have Teyana Taylor in Thom Browne
At number 8 is Mindy Kaling in Simkhai
And 7 is Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in Thom Browne
Our number 6 choice is Rachel Brosnahan in Sergio Hudson and Swarovski
Halfway there at number 5 is Erykah Badu in Marni
At number 4, Michaela Coel in Schiaparelli and Emefa Cole jewellery. Special mention to her gorgeous glam by Bernicia Boateng.
Number 3 we have Yara Shahidi in Jean Paul Gaultier
And number 2 Allyson Felix in Fendi
Adorned in a white Fendi gown made with 240,000 ostrich feathers and crystal beads.
Finally, our number 1, top choice is Anok Yai in Prabal Gurung
